Does having a high Windows Experience Index Score mean anything or is it just hype? My score on my computer is the highest 5.9 before Windows 7 came out with new high scores up to 7.9
WEI scores don't mean a whole whole lot, but on Vista it capped at 5.9. In 7 they raised the cap to 7.9 to make room for newer hardware, and so scores under 5.9 remained the same.
