I am using a Logitech Z5500 5.1 surround system connected to my computer, but I can't get any sound or even have the system detect my speakers through the analog outputs. I know the speakers work, since I'm running them on optical now, and I know the analog cables work since I used them with my last computer. Is there something in the BIOS or on the MOBO I need to change?
Also, I tried updating my drivers, but I have the newest ones. I don't think I ever got an audio codec, but I didn't think I needed one. I'm dling Realtek's HD Audio codec now though.

ASUS P7P555D-E Pro Mobo
Integrated sound card on the Mobo
Windows 7 64 bit
Logitech Z5500
