Will Xeon 1366 CPU work on regular 1366 motherboard?

Hello,

Will an Intel Xeon 32nm LGA 1366 (quad core or six core) CPU work on a regular 1366 motherboard?

I know the Lynnfield Xeon will work on a regular 1156 motherboard.

I know the Xeon W3520 works in a 1366 motherboard. On EVGA's website, quite a few Xeon processors work in their X58 motherboards. It should be the same for others, although I'm not sure.

As Lmeow said,it should work without a problem,however it may require a BIOS update(for the hexa core model),so check the CPU compatibility list of your motherboard's manufacture.
