APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: February 2010

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Everything: Gaming, Photoshop, windows, HD movie. Obviously for the gaming part, nothing crazy planed (500$ build after all)

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, monitor, Mouse.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com Ive been using this to price my stuff, but Im honestly going for the cheaper/best service.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Canada (Can I still order at newegg.com? it happens to be cheaper)

PARTS PREFERENCES: I went for AMD : Better price/performance ratio from what Ive been reading here (I have been reading THs, for the past days.)

OVERCLOCKING: No, possibility of crossfire desired.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

I havent selected the HD yet, but Im not looking for anything fancy, any suggestion? Same thing for a DVD burner, or maybe a Cheap Blu-Ray Reader. I already spent: $383.95 without tax, shipment and in US. If I put the tax at 15%, in Canadian dollar (500$ budget is in CAD), it gives 470.68CAD$ without shipments. For those part, I would say the budget is overall okay (Im not looking to pay less then this for those parts).

I welcome any advice, but my questions is really: Is my system balanced? Do I overkill something, but overlook something else?
