My SSD scored a 7.7 in WIN Experience index now it's 5.9

I adjusted settings according to this post and undid them becasue of the score. What is the best tutorial for optimum performance for my corsair 120GB SSD.

Did you enable AHPI in bois when installing the drive?

EDIT :Sorry didn't fully read what you posted. They use the same controller so instructions for both of the ssd's should be the same concerning optimization.

AHCI not AHPI.....

Unless you changed the SSD to IDE mode (and also in your BIOS), that would be the only thing to cause such a change.

In your BIOS, make sure your SATA mode is set to AHCI.

Understood. Did you tweak the registry at all for AHCI or IDE mode?
