First off, how I use my computer. I primarily surf the web, play many tables of poker with Hold'em Manager, and like to occasionally game. Most recently was playing Oblivion and Fallout 3, like Blizzard games, am not much for first person shooters. I'll be running Windows 7 Ultimate. To recover important old data, I'll be installing my old 250 GB 7200 RPM IDE hard drive as a slave. I want one graphics card, currently use a 24" widescreen at 1920x1200 and 20" at 1600x1200 dual monitor setup, but would like to leave the door open to upgrade to a 30" in the future. Budgeted around 1000$. So here's my build:

Will all these parts work together? Am I missing anything? Do I need to buy anything else? Aftermarket coolers, cables or something? Should I be overclocking for my purposes? I want it to be as stable as possible.

Thanks!

Solution
^ As for the HDDs, yes I do accept that the WD drives are very reliable...but change is good...Those Samsungs have really improved a lot over the years...And this particular drive is fast, silent and efficient...

But if you want to stick with the WD, then get the 1TB Black instead...it is faster than the 750GB and here is a good combo with a good modular PSU -
1. OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W + 2. Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.323082

PSU - Yes that PSU can handle any single chip graphics card out there...But do check the above combo...

Mobo - As you will not be adding more than 1 card, switch the mobo to this one...this has nearly all the features...
^ Will you be adding another card in crossfire later on ?

HDD - Change to this -
Samsung F3 1TB - It is faster than the WD Black and $10 more you get additional 250GB...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185

RAM - IMO this one is a better deal...
GSKillz 4GB DDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277

CPU cooler - If you wont be overclocking, then you can do away with the CPU cooler...but anyways haing one is good as it will be better than the stock and will keep the CPU cooler...
IMO this one is better than that Artic

No. The 550W supply should be plenty for my one card setup, correct?

HDD - Change to this -

Eh, I've had such a good track record with WD's drives over the last 15 years that they've got my loyalty.

RAM - IMO this one is a better deal...
GSKillz 4GB DDR3 CAS 9 1600

Yeah, that is a bit of money difference, thanks!

CPU cooler - If you wont be overclocking, then you can do away with the CPU cooler...but anyways haing one is good as it will be better than the stock and will keep the CPU cooler...

CM Hyper 212+

Ok, I will switch to that cooler.

Okay, I switched to the 1TB Black, but sticking with Corsair for the power supply on same basis I stuck with WD.

Cool, you saved me a bunch of dollars. :) Thanks so much!
