While toying around adding and removing things from my newegg shopping cart, I think I may have chosen the incorrect memory for my motherboard. After checking, it isn't listed in the compatible memory listing on ASUS website, however newegg lists it as a new item so I'm unsure if that may be the only reason. My full system is listed in another thread here and I did make the recommended substitutions in the first reply. Should I have changed out the memory as well, or is it safe to ignore it's absence from ASUS' list of qualified memory and install it. Thanks!

I'm certain they'll work. Corsair is a big RAM manufacturer, and Asus is a big motherboard manufacturer. If they didn't make their stuff to work with each other, they'd lose a lot of business.

The motherboard website will only include RAM in the compatibility list that they've actually tested, as there are so much RAM production going on they can't test every single RAM stick out there.

Great thanks, I wasn't sure if there was some specification I was missing that would make them incompatible. Corsair's website has some modules listed as being "guaranteed compatibility" with intel and some with amd, but after looking I think they're listed based on color of heat spreaders (i.e. green for amd) which I couldn't care less about.
