Amd turion II M500

hi,i want to purchase a laptop with this it a bad cpu?i want the laptop for gaming...i also have the ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4650 video card and 4 gb of ram this configuration i know the only problem is this cpu but i'm hopping for a good opinion about it.i heard it's a good thing that the AMD cpu is compatible with the AMD video card so they will work just fine.thanks

The AMD Turion II M500 is an ok mobile processor, it has the same performance on average as a slightly lower clocked Intel Core 2 T6000 series processor. The main concern in gaming though is the graphics card - the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4650 should perform fine.

Yep. For a laptop, the 4650 is "mid end" and a great performer.
