m5a99x evo r2

m5a99fx pro r2

which one would be better, the only real difference i can see is the £25 price tag and that the second one can support dual graphics cards in x16 x16 rather than x16 x8, perhaps im missing something?

i would go on to crossfire radeon hd 7770 in a year, would the x16 x16 mode help me more than x16 x8? or should i spend £25 on something else?

Get the one that supports x16 x16 it is far superior to the first...The second also has a better chipset the 990FX

x16 x16 is WAY overkill, honestly, especially with two 7770's...

And the difference between 990X and 990FX isn't a very large one.

Regardless, for only £25 more, why not overkill it? (Slight sarcasm, but slight truth, too).

+1^ OVERKILL Is there any other way to do it...LOL..Also, I believe that the OP is gonna upgrade above those 7770's to some heavy firepower as the prices drop on the cards over the next few months...just a hunch though I may be wrong
