I Have Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5 Ghz(E5200). I plan to get 4gb ddr3 ram
MY Monitor Display is 1366x768 (16 inch). I asked on this forum which graphix card is suitable , I got 5770 HD as reply I had planned 5850, but with that weak processor it would be a bottlekneck.
MY Questions are :
1)If I want to play Games like-
Batman Arkham Asylum
Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2
Prince of Persia 2008
Dragon Age Origins etc.-
If I dont change the monitor, and Get i5 750 2.66 ghZ processor with HD 5770 Card will it give awesome graphics and human realism similar to HD 5850 at that monitor resolution or should I get HD 5850
2)I have read certain Articles of Crossfire but I dont understand them, IF I get HD 5770 now can I connect HD 5850 to it in the future , and what exactly happens when 2 cards get connected do their core clock powers, stream proccesors add up and act like a hyper card? Do i need a particular Motherboard for it ?
3)Many sites are providing Direct X 10 for XP, does it give same visual spledor as Direct X 10 on windows 7 ?so should I get windows 7 at all ?

For that resolution(1366x768), a single 5770 is enough, no need 5850.
Yes, u will maximize 5770 performance if u upgrade to i5.

Upgrade to an i5 and 5850...Buy a good monitor later.....your pc will be future proof for next 2-3yrs...On xp and win7 issue I would say better go for win7 as it supports dx11....Besides I have seen many guys complain that drivers don't install on xp..
