Hello,
I have a 2GB stick os ddr2 pc2 6400 400mhz. It is running at cl spec by manufacturer and cupid shows it running at 402.4. Is this going to cause memory failure in the future? I had a crucial ballistix stick (same spec) and it crapped out on me

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Not always the RAM speed is the perfect that the manufacturer says, so u will be OK with that specs since are the manufacturer specs and the speed.
