I just have a quick question about RAM timings and frequency. I purchased some G.Skill DDR3 for my AMD mobo (Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5), and heard that you had to mess around with the timings and stuff to get the advertised 1600Mhz. It was defaulting to 1333Mhz with 9-9-9-24, I believe. I had never messed with any RAM settings, so I didn't really know what I was doing. But I kind of figured my way through it, and I just wanted to check and make sure I changed all the right settings.
So, in BIOS, I changed the RAM frequency to 1.61 V (listed on G.Skill packaging as 1.6V), set the timings to 8-8-8-24 (slower than advertised, but others said that this was as fast as you could get safely on AMD boards), and changed the Memory Clock to x8, making it 1600Mhz.
Everything seems to be running fine. Did I change everything that needed to be changed?

Yes, that's all really. If it's running smooth then you shouldn't be worried.
