Plugging 3 pin fans to molex?

The thing is, I don't have enough connectors on the motherboard to plug them in.

I was wondering if it is possible to strip the wires open on the fan wires and pop those wires on the molex of my PSU?

I wouldn't do that. I would either purchase one that has a molex connector or one that comes with a 3-pin-molex-adaptor.

Gotta agree with Danny here, that sounds like a bad idea. A better idea would be a fan power distribution strip like this

that you plug a single molex into and run up to 3 each 3 pin fans from - they make bigger strips also
Or another option would be a molex to three pin cable like this
