Building a PC, need some help

So i plan on building a beast PC with a Core™ 2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.0GHz 1333FSB 12MB L2 Cache 64-bit, Maelstrom Full Tower Gaming Case w/ Sound Absorbing Foam case, Thermaltake CL-P0466 SpinQ Gaming CPU Cooling Fan, 3-Way SLI Support) EVGA nForce 790i SLI Mainboard FSB1333 DDR3 PCIe x16 SATA RAID w/ USB2.0,&7.1Audio motherboard, 8g ram, 2 VIDIA GeForce GTX285 1GB 16X PCIe Video Card. I'm just wondering if i should change anything and/or what power supply i should get? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Socket 775 is EOL

I would suggest looking into a s1156 or s1366 MOBO

Whats your budget ? and are you reusing any parts ? Monitors rez ?

Well im having a friend build it for me and im pretty much set on the parts im just curious on what power supply i need and or if i shouldnt even bother getting the second gcard. I'm up to about $1900. Monitor rez is 1920x1200 is what it can go but im playing 1280x1024 cause my comp sucks.

For to GTX 285 in SLI and a C2 Q with 1 HDD and OCing the CPU I would go with a 900W + PSU I wouldn't blow 1900 on a dead socket

Give me about 10 min i will post what i would do and you can go from there

With this system you can add other HD 5870 down the road if you like it has usb 3.0 and will give grate FPS in games and you could OC the CPU if you like

Anyways its your money your call, but i would not pay that kind of money for a dead socket
