  1. The first system... WOW Impressive

Why not pick up two 5970's , instead of four 5870's?? It will give you about equal performance (quad crossfire/sli have never scaled great), plus give you room to grow. At that point you can drop down to a good standard X58 MOBO like the ASUS P6T V2 Deluxe.

Why do you need four SSD in RAID0 (guessing at the setup)? You won't see much difference running two in RAID0 over having four. Your eye can only see data so fast, which you are getting to the point where you won't be able to notice a difference.

Just some of my thoughts... :D
  2. ok so, bench wise, the 4x5870's are a tad faster, so thats why i went them

the four ssd's in raid inf or sheer speeds, i will be able, with the help of the card to get 1gb/s read or maybe just over.

this whole setup is for LAN and demo for my business, speed and big numbers are everything
  3. How much did the main rig cost? I hope you got a good discount!
  4. My concern is that motherboard specifically states 4-way SLI and not 4-Way Crossfire. Are you sure you can do 4-way Crossfire on that board?

    -Wolf sends
  5. *** ing ***.HOw much did you spend??!!!!! damn i wish i had that kind of money to spend on one computer. lol
  6. Either he's a rich f*ck or he's lying. :D
  7. How about posting a picture of this monster?
  8. CPU listed is closed market. Wrong motherboard for Crossfire. No quick connects for water cooling. Your raid array would melt.

Me thinkie you just made a list of stuff!
  9. HOW MUCH IT COST???????????????????
  10. shhh, the cpu isnt out yet, the build os for about 9-10 weeks time, and pics WILL follow.

The board support crossfire, read up sunshine, go google trubritar code red.

Thanks for letting us know. The proof is in the benchmarks. How about some wPrime, PCMark, SysMark, Futuremark scores?
