Can't decide on motherboards.

Please name the components.....links are nice but most times not needed. Most people just dont wanna have to click 12 links to see what the hardware is.

Cooler - Decent cooler, great for system budgets below $1,000

DvD - Good Choice

Monitor - decent choice in that price range

RAM - your RAM is using two different voltages, Id use one OR the other.

Storage - Good SSD but HD has chinsy 1 year warranty.

Case - The 500R is a significant upgrade available\ for the exact same$90 price.

The 500R is well worth every extra penny over the 400R.
And that's at the $139 retail price, at $90 its a steal

PSU - I wuda went TX series

MoBo - ya spending $230 for the CPU and $135 for the MoBo ($372 w/ shipping) .... $190 if ya get the Asus $420 total).

So to answer ya question .... yes, id spend the extra $55 in a heartbeat. However ....

The ASUS P8Z77-V PRO is $217 .... another $27 more than the one you listed....however it comes in a combo with your CPU for $30 discount....$417 total ....so the upgrade is free and puts $3 back in ya pocket.....tho still $35 more than ya 1st pick, I'd much rather have the Asus

I'm on a budget here, what you listed far exceeds my budget. I'm happy with the cooler, ram, the Team extreme ram was free. My HDD, I'm changing to WD Blue 1TB, and the case I am changing to Antec Nine Hundred, I don't want to have to spend 80 more dollars on a motherboard. I was on a 1k budget. I'm at 973 as is.
