Which has more power?

Wondering which is better, the Nvidia 7600GS or the Amd 785G chipset. Thanks for your consideration

U compared a two different things i guess, 7600GS is a discrete card and AMD 785G is an integrated chipset, am i right?

The GeForce 7600 GS is a descrete card,
while,
AMD 785G is an integrated chipset.

Offcourse, discrete card are much, much better then integrated ones

I know generally discrete card are much more powerful, but the 7600gs is old and weak while the 785G chipset is fairly new, although I am not expecting wonders from it, a friend bragged that even his onboard chipset is more powerful than anothers old discrete graphics card, I would just like to settle the matter

Have him benchmark some games with the 785G.

Offer to drop in your 7600GS into his PC, then run the same benchmarks.

The 785G chipset runs the HD 4200, which is just a smaller more power efficient form of the HD 3200, its no more powerful. As you can see the 7600GS is two tiers above the HD 4200 which implies there would be a fairly significant performance difference between the two. If he wont believe that chart, go for jaguarskx's suggestion.
