Computer is stuck on blank screen.

As it happens, I was running Windows 7 a couple days ago when all of a sudden the screen froze, I could hear static from the headphones and a few seconds later the system rebooted. And now it gets stuck on a blank screen. Everything turns on but nothing happens. Also before this I use to get some error called hyper transport sync flood error something like that.
My set up is
790x-g45 crossfire motherboard
9800gtx+
4gb patriot
2hard drives
1 audigy 2z

I found out my harddrive was messed up. Seems like this only occurs when someone has a hardware problems.
