MoBo - Recommend on of the Asus 1156 boards w/ USB 3 and SATA III

PSU _ recommend a better quality unit, this list (use 2nd one entitled "Recommended List", Editor's Choice would likely be budget killer) a good start

Hard Drives - Check out the performance charts and pick whatever 500 GB per platter drive performs best under your usage patterns. The WD Black 2 TB is a good choice but at smaller capacities, you are limited to the Seagate 7200.12 or the Spinpoint F3. The 7200.12 excels in gaming, multimedia and pictures whereas the F3 wins at music and movie maker. See the comparisons here (copy past link in manually, link won't work in forum):

    Memory - CAS 7

    Case - Antec Illusion, 600 or 902....equivalents by Collermaster (i.e HAF 922)

The ram just seems like it is too expensive
i am on a very tight budget but thanks for the recommendations
  3. Does anyone have any recommendations for a mobo around $100-130 - full Atx please
  4. My other question is whether the stock core i5 heatsink and fan is any good or is suitable for some minor overclocking

    btw i found a mobo
