ok here the dilema,
Attempted to COPY Folders: DESKTOP, FAVORITES, AND MY DOCUMENTS to External Drive. When copy folders completed.
I checked External Drive for the folders I copied. I was abled to view the FAVORITES, AND MY DOCUMENTS folders only.
The External DESKTOP folder was empty. The original files and folders (D: drive) that was on my original Desktop did not appear.
I was able to find the files and folders on the D:\Documents and Settings/\Usersname\My Recent Document.
The problem is the files and folders are now shortcuts and will not open. Due to file and/or folder name changed or was moved.
Any assistance will be greatly apprectiated.
