Hi. I'm thinking of buying a new motherboard for my system (my current P35 is outdated, i think).

My main issues are:

1-Gaming so I need crossfire support (with my HD4890 vapor-x)
2-3D working so I will need a i5 or i7 in future (currently I'm using a E8400)
3-Less power consumption
4-Support for triple channel RAMs.
5-And the last is price which I want to be about 200$

I understand that lots of X48 and P55 motherboards satisfy me but I don't know which one to choose.

and in terms of brand choosing, I prefer ASUS, Gigabyte and DFI

Thank you for your time.

X48 = LGA 775 your current socket, Core i5s and Core i7s won't work.
P55 = LGA 1156 which is the socket that current Core i5s and Core i7s use.

Just go for a P55 board, triple channel is only on X58. It doesn't really offer much performance boost over dual channel though to be honest.

For a P55 board I recommend the Asus P7P55D-E Pro.
