Hello,
I am making my first build, and I ran into a problem. My Samsung 2333 23" Monitor is not recognizing that my computer is on. I have the XFX Radeon HD 5770, running in the correct slot, on my Asus P7P55D-E Pro.
I tried using the hdmi that came with the monitor, and what appears to be a DVI-D cable.
Can I run the bios with the 5770 or do i need to use something simple to start the system up. (I am about to find an old Graphics card so i can troubleshoot better, with a running computer)
Also, all the mobo lights seem to say that everything is okay, except i can't hear the beeps from the speaker, even though i have unconnected and reconnected it.

Thank you for your help, but it turns out I didn't have my ram in all the way. :??: Such a newbie mistake, lol I spent like 2 hrs trying to see how to configure my Graphics card, because i misread the manual. Thank you for your help anyway.
** Also, I'm using the HDMI, and its working fine.
