WD harddrive

my western digital hard drive is not recongized by my computer it is in device manager but not under my computer it is in disk management but it has no name to it the drive is fairly new i have win 7 . thanks

If this is a new drive with nothing on it yet, you need to go into disk management, right-click the drive and select initialize. When the process is finished, it will have a drive letter assigned to it and will be visible in windows.
