i am trying to fix my in-laws computer for them and i think they're mobo is damaged, but i was hoping to get some feedback before i tell them that they should spend the money on replacing it, but anyways, the problem is that the mobo doesnt seem to be reading the HDD, in bios it acknowledges its prescence and see's when i change the sata connection that the HDD is plugged into, but, when i try loading the OS it wont work and when i try using a install OS disk, i get the the format HDD screen and it says that there is no hard disk, so my problem is that the mobo seems to know the HDD is there in bios, but cant seem to access it to read anything on it or to write on it, i moved the HDD into my computer and it booted up fine so i know its not a problem with the HDD, anyways, if anyone has any insight, please, help
