I7 860 OC w/ Hyper threading ?

I currently have an i7 860 running (with Turbo Boost) at 3608 Mhz, so without Turbo Boost at 3444 Mhz. The temps are perfectly fine, but I am wondering if I can get higher clocks if hyper threading is disabled? Does hyper threading account for more heat?

hyper threaded chips usually have a higher TDP, and yes, you can usually get higher clocks without hyperthreading enabled
