This is my first build. I have done my research, and this is what I have come up with besides the mobo because in my previous thread someone said the mobo would not be good for SSDs in RAID 0, that they would bottleneck. I have picked out the following;

Phenom II X3 720 - I am going to OC

4gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600

XFX Radeon HD 4850 1gb

OCZ ModXstream 600W PSU

2 - OCZ Solid 2 series 60gb SSDs hopefully in RAID 0.

The MOBO i have picked out is;

ASUS M4A77TD AM3 AMD 770

Any help would be great.. Any SATA controller? Anything, I want the speed of the SSDs :-P

Your specs will work, but you need a backup drive for OS & data. RAID 0 is unreliable. Eventually, your os drive gets corrupt and won't boot.

As for RAID on AMD mobos won't work as well as Intel chipset, it's debatable.
