Over the past week or so I have been upgrading my computer. My specs now are:
MSI 790FX-GD70 Mobo
MSI 5970 graphics card
OCZ platinum RAM 12800 4GB (was 8 GB but it was a mix between 12800 and 1600.)
AND phenom 1090T 6 core
Before the only difference was a 4 core phenom and a 4870X2 was fitted.
So everything has been out of action for the computer for about a week. As I was redoing everything cable routings etc.
And heres the problem I can not get the computer boot now. Everything is recieveing power however it will not post (I do get the onboard motherboard screen warning FF). I think this is related to a processor issue. And then last night I noticed that the processor was sticking to the heatsink and the ppins not connecting into place properly ie was uneven on the socket. Now I am not sure if this is the problem and did try to use the old processor to no avail. I am not sure if it is the motherboard or the processor.
If anyone can offer any help it would be appreciated.
