Hi, I am buying a laptop for my father-in-law, a pretty robust, pricey
system. But before we make the plunge I'd like to get some opinions
on who has the best service and support between Toshiba, Sony and HP?
(Dell is out of the equation because of not having a 17" screened
laptop.) Thanks in advance,

Toshiba, then HP, then Sony. Sony makes good hardware, but heaven
help you if you need support.
