Your motherboard won't support DDR3. You will have to run / upgrade to DDR2 800 or DDR2 1066 for your needs.

^+1.

Imo, if you are upgrading DDR2 RAM, you may as well buy a new motherboard (~$80-150 for a good one) and DDR3 RAM.

Im just trying to stay below $500 for a complete upgrade to a PhenomII x4 2.5gig+ and DDR3 Ram

I think im taking on a bigger task then anticipated.

Any Ideas on a Mix of CPU Mobo and Ram? I really dont care about the brand of board or ram just that it be 3gig+ ram and support 52000M/Ts and at lease one PCI-E x16; 2 > with crossfire
