BUDGET RANGE: around $1000

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: 3D Applications, software devolpment, gaming of course :)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg.com

OVERCLOCKING: No

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Just something high enough to look pretty

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I work in the film and visual effects industry and sometimes do work at home, so I need a new rig that can store a large amount of data and handle a fair amount of multi-tasking. Would like to take a drive with Crysis and Diablo III too.

I have done a good amount of research but this is my first build ever, so I am definitely open to suggestions. I don't want to break the bank, but would like the box to last me 4-5 years as my current one has since 2005.

-Does this all work/compatible and look good? I am open to better&cheaper suggestions?

-I do not want to go with an Intel i7, so definitely want to stay with an i5

Grate cheep case with good air flow, Grate PSU and all you need you could even go with a 550W for a single card setup and no OCing but the price is about the same, lower CL ram with good Volts, mobo with USB 3.0, You dont really need the HSF if your not OCing Intel wont give you a POS HSF so they will have to replace the CPU
