Will a better video card make a diiference when watching movies

when i watch a movie on my computer the mouth isn't in sync with the words will a better video card help.

Maybe, but not if your watching Japanese monster movies. What card are you using now? Are you watching DVDs on your computer using the DVDburner? Is your monitor connected to the video card with DVI? HDMI?

What format are you watching?

Is it blu-ray, DVD movie? Is it a video file like AVI or MKV?
