Cooler master CPU cooler socket question

Hello,
I have added http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
to my cart but I just noticed that while it does mention core 2 quad as a supported CPU, it does not mention LGA 775 as a CPU socket that is supported. Cooler Masters Website does mention 775 but
http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=3053

has * Supplied accessories may differ by country or area. Please check with your local distributor for further details.
after the
CPU Socket Intel Socket:
LGA 2011 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 775 *

AMD Socket:
FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2

Am I good to go? I need it to work with a lga 775 CPU and Motherboard. this is so weird... Newegg does not list it, cooler-master lists it but with an asterisk.... argh! help pls!!

  1. You should get the 212+! It's $10 cheaper after rebate, plus the performance difference is very little.

  2. I am already getting one, the rebate is one per person so i am getting the evo as my 2nd one since the price difference makes it pointless to get the 212+. i need 2 total.

    anyone have any idea?
