Hello,

quick question...I have 2 routers, a Linksys wag320n and an SMC7904WBRA. I use the first as adsl modem/router...can I use the second as some sort of repeater to get better wireless coverage ?

Thx for the help, but I think I better just give up...

They are both wireless so I want them connected wireless. I gave the one where the adsl comes in 192.168.1.1 and the other one 192.168.1.31. I turned off wireless security on both, gave them both the same dsl modulation, turned on wds on the router with 192.168.1.31. Then when I connect a pc to the second router I can't get it to go on the internet. I turned of DHCP on both, gave all my pc's and routers a fixed IP in the same subnet. I can go on the net from the router where the adsl comes in.

Unless someone sees me overlook something here, I'll leave it at just one router.

Connecting two wireless routers wirelessly requires that both support Wireless Distribution System (WDS). Check the manuals.
