FM2 Cpu cooler support

Howdy everybody. I am planning to build my brother a A-10 5800k APU build and have a leftover Coolermaster Hyper101 heatsink lying around that I want to reuse. Anyone know if it is compatible with the FM2 socket. They look very similar to AMD's bracket setup but want to ask and make sure. Cheers all.

FM2 is the same as FM1 when it comes to size, and FM1 is the same size as AM3. AMD is cool like that, or bad depending on how you look at it

the best thing AMD have done so far is retain the mounting mechanism and its dimentsions are intact. You can actually use a cooler that supports AM2+/AM3+ so your covered there TDP wise
