NZXT Havik 140's Abilities

Hi everyone. I am planning on building a high-end system sometime in December. Here is a link to a rough draft of the build so far. I am only a low to medium overclocker, nothing extreme. So how high will I be able to overclock my CPU with the NZXT Havik 140? All feedback is greatly appreciated and suggestions are always welcome!

How does the Hyper 212+ compare to the Havik 140 in temperature, noise, and size (smaller is better for me)?

You're not even doing anything extreme, 212 should handle everything you throw at it.

How high could I overclock with it in case I got more into overclocking down the road? Could it handle say 4.5GHZ for example on the 3770k?

Not on a 212, or really a Havik.

IB runs much hotter than SB, anything really above 4.2ghz is watercooling territory.

Alright what if i was to drop to a 2700k? Then could it handle that speed? And can the 212 handle 4.2 on the 3770k?

For both of your questions, YES!

212 handled my 2600K @4.5ghz w/1.31V. I was getting around 70-80's, though your temps might be different because you have a much better case than mine.

Any how...I'm on custom water now.

Hmm alright I really like the 3770k so go with the 212+ for now and move onto watercooling when need for higher overclocks?

Sorry last thing, for the 3770k, aprox. how high could I overclock with the 212 and how high with the Havik? Just for a final comparison.

4.2 on both.

Anything really higher would require custom WC, but there are many factors. That's just personally what I would do.
