Heatings and malfunctioning gaming graphics

Hello,
i've just changed my power supply
,a new one of 450wt for my p4 with
1gb ram and 2.99ghz processor.even
then my moterboard heats seriosly
and none of the pc games runs smothly

What is your graphic card? How are the temps, and have you overclocked at all? If you push the card too much, it could cause game artifacts.

Please provide complete system specifications, including brand and model of your PSU and motherboard. Does your case have good airflow through it, and are any/all fans running?
