Hi I have recently purchased a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H Motherboard and I comes with ATI 4200 onboard with Hybrid CrossfireX. I plan to buy an ATI Radeon 5770 and would like to know a few things.

If I buy the 5770 and install it and enable the Hybrid CrossfireX support to crossfire my onbaord and the card, I am told that I will use the onbaord graphics' rear panel connections for the monitor. Is that the case?

If that is the case will I have the directx 11 support from the 5770 (and all other features) or the directx 10.1 support from the onboard? Basically will the 4200 onboard use the 5770 as a boost or vice versa.

And finally with the both of them running together, would they match up to the 4890 or perhaps the 5850?

Hello and welcome to the forums :)
First of all i don't recommend using Hybrid CrossFireX if you are going to game because HybridCF is mainly for power saving and won't give you a noticeable boost in gaming,so CrossFiring a HD 5770 and the integrated HD 4200 isn't a good idea.
So if you want to CrossFire, then buy another HD 5770 and if you can't then use a single HD 5770.

Hybrid crossfire won't turn on unless both of the card are of same series ie.4xxx
