Corsair HX850 PSU with Dell XPS 420?

Would I run into any problems placing a Corsair HX850 PSU into my XPS 420? I don't think there'd be any issues but I wanted to make sure before purchasing one.

That's alot of psu for that Dell.

You will not have an issue with that but there is no reason for such a big PSU in that. It can only use 1 gpu so it is very unnecessary for that kind of power supply all you will need to run any single GPU is about 550 watts a few cards need a little more but at the most you will need is 650 watts. Keep in mind that you will be replacing a BTX configured psu that is just under 5.5 inches with an ATX psu that is just under 7.1 inches and then has modular connectors to add to the size, it's going to be a tight fit.

Hey i read the posts and it has been a while now but i was wondering if it fit !? because i am planning on replacing the 425 PSU in my dell xps 420 with a Corsair HX650 myself
