What are the pros and cons of both? I'm pairing with a i5-3750k and 430w PSU.

More about : 7750 7770

The only con of the 7770 is it uses more power than the 7750. With a 430W PSU that's not even close to being a problem though.

i will actually answer the question

first just do the comparison on price vs. performance. I am not going to look this up for you. You can go see that 7770 is on the toms best bang for the buck chart recommendation currently.

Now onto comparisons for only very special builds:
7750 doesn't require extra power supply plug. You can also choose a few models that are fanless if you need to do an absolutely silent build, or home theater PC build.

7770 requires a powersupply plug , but still is very low power compared to other cards. It gives more performance for a relatively slight price increase.
I think there is only 1 sapphire model that is fanless. So most have fans, but if you choose wisely, there are many fanned 7770s available that still are very quiet.

Well why in general is the 7770 better and on the specs of the 7770 (ASUS) it says it requires a 450w psu.

go read an article and benchmark. put your question into google.
just look at the number, 7770 is "20" more than 7750.

Why is an iphone5 better than an iphone4s better than an iphone 4? they all make phone calls, take pictures, get on the internet and play music, right?

Not sure how much you want to be spoon fed.

Those PSU requirements are only very rough estimates and include a huge safety margin. They don't want to risk any lawsuits because someone's dodgy PSU blew up.

Oh that would make sense. How would the 7770 measure up against the 550 ti? I have seen some benchmarks and the 550 ti looks better but I have heard from many the 7770 is better. Opinions?

The 550 Ti is roughly on par with the 7750 I have found in DX11. The 7770 should crush it in modern DX11 games (Almost all games).
