Second HardDisk?

Hey there
I recently (6 months ago) bought a second WD 500GB HDD to use with my 160GB one

the 160GB HDD had Windows XP installed
then i installed Windows Vista on the 500GB one and used it for about a month

after a while i kept using xp as primary and the 500 for storage.
2 months later the 500 HDD was only showing on my BIOS & Disk Management screens, But NOT on "My Computer", i checked with Acronis Disk Director and it recognized it as a "Super Floppy" using FAT16! while my XP one is using NTFS.

how can i make it usable?
note that i don't want to format it as there are important files i need in it.

Have you tried a repair install using your Vista installation disk? Boot from the Vista CD and follow the screens to repair the installation. A repair install will fix Vista and not affect your other files. After it is complete, be sure to download and install the Vista updates.

Thank you for your reply, I tried something different before this and it was fixed! I opened Acronis Disk Director and did a recovery.. Then it "undeleted all the volumes" which were working on NTFS.. Now I got them all back.
