Hey guys,

Here's my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/y5l

This is my first custom built pc and my first attempt at overclocking. At stock frequency (3711 Mhz - 1.096 volt) I had 27-30 C at idle and 58-65 at full load (w/ prime 95)

Room temp is 23-24 (controlled by A/C). With this overclock (@ 4.6 Ghz - 1.275 volt) I got 66-75C at full load (although one core reached 79C once and another 77C) and 35-40 at idle (maybe due to bad fan curve setting on my part).

Do you think it's so far so good? Anything at risk? My main concern was about the CPU cooler. I was worried I applied the thermal paste in a bad way...

I'll let it run for the whole day and see if it's stable.

Wow, that is impressive. The voltage is nice and low too. Good work. If you recently applied the thermal paste, then it may take some time for it to set, so the temps could go down a few degrees over time.

WEIRD. Your core voltage and temps are the exact same as mine. I also only had one core hit 79c during and overnight run of P95. I think you're pretty safe. A lot of people say that up to 80c shouldn't have an adverse effect on your chip.
