Getting into overclocking with an amd a10 5800k?

My first decent gaming build is great so far, though I disabled the integrated graphics on the chip and is using an nvidia gtx 660 ti. I'm using this AMD chip for now so I can save it when I end up upgrading my pc, but that's besides the point. Would overclocking be necessary? I get a smooth 50-60 frames on ultra/extreme with games like bf3 or sleeping dogs.

if you had plans for an add in card why did you go with an APU?
i doubt any reasonable overclocking will get you ultra settings at that frame rate, but if your set on overclocking, start with an aftermarket cooler that supports the FM2 socket, and read the AMD black edition guide at the top of this forum, that will tell you all you need

btw, all am3+ cooler will work on fm2 since they have the same retention plate/ holes.
