what is safe temperature for cpu


My Config with temp

AMD x4 955BE - 45-55C
Mobo - asus m3a78-em 43C
GPU - XFX HD 5850 @ 59C
Ram Trancend DDR2 800MHZ @ Unknown
PSU - Corsair 550VX


are the temperature fine??


if not tell me a good zalman or cooler master cooling solution

Please note outside temp is 45C and CPU fan is @ 6K RPM

if ambient is 45*, then those temps are the best ull get

i live in the tropics and we can get up to 36*, i sympathize

anyway doesnt matter. your Cpu is perfect if it is in 45C,good if it is in 50C,OK if it is in 55C

your Gpu is HOt but it is due to your ambient. make sure it is around 50 at ideal

i have the same specs and my GPu at ideal is 34C
and at full load is 72C

GTA4 - 50-55C
CODMW2 - 43-48C

my Cpu is 36C at ideal
and 60-65 at full load

i am from india and ya its a bit hot here..................................

anyways the tempretures are on load but not continues load 5-20mins load though i am running fan @ faster speed to cool cpu down faster

anyways what is the MAX safe temp for cpu and gpu just to be on safe side ON LOAD

55c under load with a 45c ambient is great. Good temps. The max safe is around 70c.
