Asus P7H55D-M EVO power consumption

I'm looking for an uATX motherboard for use with an i5-6xx processor with support for the integrated graphics.

The Asus P7H55D-M EVO is one of the boards on my shortlist. However I'm just concerned about the temps and power consumption at idle.

I've read a few reviews which shows the P7H55D-M EVO is not very energy efficient at idle running at around 10w more then boards of simular size and spec (e.g. Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3).

I have not used an Asus board with EPU before but I thought this feature was suppose to save energy? Is there any reason why reviewers are reporting high idle power consumption with this board? is there a fix? can the EPU be configured to be more aggressive without affecting performance?

If anyone has used this board and has any general comments on it, please do post.

im using h55 for the same reason, i wanted low power, msi is the leader in low power boards because they use active phase switching, i ended up settling for an ECS, but ecs also apparently idles about 10watts more than competitors, reviewers use the technology to the best it can go, so if the reviewers didnt find it, then it most likely isnt there
