Wireless connection advance tab cannot see anything

Hello,
i am able to view my list of wireless connection available. but i cannot connect to any of it even to my local wireless connection. what's the problem anf how to solve this?

What happens when you try? Are you seeing a message that the network is secured and needs a key? If so, and only if you're trying to connect to your own network, you need that key. You may need to cable to the router to be able to see the settings.

By the way, although this is my first post in Toms Hardware, I have been around a whle in other places and have a little experience.
