  1. Hey dude,

All your links are broken, which makes it a bit hard to see what you've got. But anyway, a couple things:

The Rosewill case MAY be okay, but the PSU isn't. The power supply is one of the most important components you'll buy; a bad choice could ruin the rest of your hardware permanently. Go for a trusted brand, like Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, Cooler Master, Antec, or OCZ. Look for reviews of specific power supplies at sites like hardocp.com and jonnyguru.com; they're generally very good.

What's the rig for? Gaming? If so, a better video card may be in order, even if it's more expensive. Maybe a Radeon 5750 for $130? That's your call, obviously. What's your budget?

    CPU? :)

Finally, I'd get a bigger hard drive...it's up to you, but disk space is pretty cheap. $20 more could get you a 500 GB WD Caviar Black, and a 1 TB drive is only about $90-$100. Again, depends on how much you can spend; if you can only spare $50 for a drive, your choice seems fine.

    HTH,

    -Will

Edit: Can't believe I forgot about Antec in the PSU list!
  2. Hi.

    1- What is your budget?
2- The rig, Is for gaming? video edition? surf the web?
    3- You forgot the CPU
4- The PSU isn't good, get a 500W PSU from a good brand like Coolermaster, Thermaltake, Corsair, PC power and cooling, Antec or OCZ.
5- The GPU is old, get a 5770 or better.
6- You post thermal compound, but, where is the CPU cooler? the stock cooler already have the thermal compound.
7- If the RAM have a CL>8 forget it, get another with CL7 or CL8
8- I would change the mobo for a Croshair III, 790FX-GD70 or Asus M4A79T Deluxe.

    Cheers!
  3. gaming. my budget is $400-500 I just need something to get by and upgrade later on.
  4. can I use ATX 12v on the 770 mobo or do I have to use atx psu?

  8. ^Good rig for now, in the future you can change the processor for an Athlon X4 or a Phenom.

Also, change the GPU for one of THIS are better brand that the sparkle and the price is very similar.

I looked up crossfirex and hyper cfx and I am confused can you explain the difference between the two? is it better to have a hyper cfx or just crossfirex? and I chose ati because of this.
    thanx dude
  10. ^That is a better mobo, BUT the RAM have a CL 9, the CL recomended is CL7 or CL8. Try to get the ripjaws series with CL7 or CL8.

In what page you see the Crossfirex and hyper CFX?
  11. I just googled it
