Windows Explorer keeps crashing

Windows explorer keeps crashing when I try open folders in My Document, Error: AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.5512 ModName: libmpeg2_ff.dll
ModVer: 0.5.1.0 Offset: 000030b7

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this, short of a wipe and reload of my harddrive?

The FFDShow codeck pack must be the cause... Do a file search for libmpeg2_ff.dll and if you have it, remove the codec pack or application that contain the .dll, and reinstall them with more recent versions, or replace the FFDShow codec pack with the K-lite Codec pack, it has the FFDSHOW codec included.
