Hello I am wondering which graphics card to get. I am thinking of getting the 5770 as most people recommend but I was also looking at the Nvidia 260.

What do you guys recommend for my current system?

My computer
Byostar Motherboard MCP6P M2+
AMD Athlon II X3 2.7GHZ 425
Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
3 GB of memory
250GB HD
450W PSU

Also if there is a better graphics card let me know.

Thank you.

The 5770 and GTX260 tend to trade punches depending on the game. The GTX does consume more power as it is a last gen card. Well we ill consider it such because Nvidia doesn't have a new card out yet as ATI does. The 5770 supports DX11 which will be up and coming with some new titles. However, the GTX260 has PhysX going for it that some games really take advantage of. IE, Batman.

Since you are limited by your power supply, the 5770 is probably the best solution. But I would just check out some of the performance review for the 5770 and look at which card performs better on the games you play. The GTX260 is usually included on most of the 5770 reviews I have seen. I don't think it vouches for a PSU replacement though, plus the GTX...

I am thinking of playing Grand Theft Auto 4 and maybe the new Star Wars Unleashed game.

I might also be getting a new PSU depending on which graphics card is best. I might get a 680W PSU. later on when I buy the graphics card.

On Price point I am limited on $205. So right now I am leaning toward the 5770. Still Should I get the power supply or it will run fine with the one I have.
