Hi there,

Tried search, didn't find what i need.

I'm looking in to buying 2x480GTX's as soon as they are available in my country and it's time to upgrade my PSU from lousy 520W. So my question is it enough to buy "CORSAIR PSU 950W 14CM ATX12V2.2 80+" for this Configuration... My country is very limited on tech and all my money will be basically spent on graphic cards. Looking for your help.

P.S. If anybody cares 1 card is like 150% of my monthly wage :)

I checked several references. The Nvidia 480GTX video card uses a lot of power. Most technical reviews recommend an 800 to 850 watt power supply for a system with two 480GTX cards operating in SLI mode.

If they are available in your country, then Corsair and Seasonic are two brands that have a reputation for high quality power supplies that consistently earn high marks in technical reviews. They are reliable, stable, and come with a 5 year warranty. Some of the newer models come with a 7 year warranty. The warranty might be different in your country.
