BUDGET RANGE: 600-900 usd

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming. internet, 3d drafting, internet etc

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, OS

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg or cheaper

PARTS PREFERENCES: AMD for the price

OVERCLOCKING: probably not

Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1600x900

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: just looking for something that will work and will be capable of upgrading in a couple years or so.

5670 is pretty weak. slightly weaker than a 4770. i would suggest bumping up to a 5770 or at least a 5750

I would switch to a Phenom II 955 BE if you can afford it. I would stay away from the older Athlons if possible.

That monitor really is not a good deal.

The graphics card you picked is not very powerful for that price. You can find radeon 4870s for ~$130-140 new or you can usually pick up a used one for around ~$100.

The 4870 gets almost double the fps of the 5670.

Ok upgrade the CPU combo for 30 bucks and the video card. that is easy enough thanks
